Your most direct path to Raiderland

Join the Texas Tech Online Summer Start program and begin taking Texas Tech courses online with other future Red Raiders. Pass your summer courses with a 2.5GPA and become fully admitted, ready to start on-campus in the fall.

Take the following three courses online with leading Texas Tech faculty:

  • History of Rock and Roll (3 Credits)

  • Introduction to Sociology 101 (3 Credits)

  • Raider Ready: University Learning Skills (1 Credit)

Earn Texas Tech Credit

Be admitted as a full-time student with a portion of your first year already complete. The credit you earn in Online Summer Start will apply toward the general requirements of your degree.

Join Other future Red Raiders

Take your classes with other future Red Raiders. You’ll arrive in Raiderland in the fall with a community of fellow students already established.

Access full support coaching

You'll be provided with an individual coach who will help you stay on track and meet your goals. You’ll also have a full online tutoring center to help you through the coursework.
